FINISHES
Bjelin finishes combine advanced durability with eco-friendly, low-maintenance materials.
- Pro Matte UV-Cured Lacquer: A refined matte topcoat paired with a gently wire-brushed surface. This seals the wood pores, highlighting the natural grain while eliminating the need for periodic re-oiling, waxing, or sanding.
DURABILITY & PERFORMANCE
- Woodura® Hardened Wood Technology
Using a patented high-pressure thermo-compression process, Bjelin fuses a real European wood top layer to a moisture-resistant Wood-Powder layer and a rigid Compositek™ core. This molecular fusion creates a "hardened wood" surface that is 3 to 5 times more impact- and dent-resistant than traditional solid or engineered hardwood, making it virtually impervious to high heels, dropped objects, and pet claws.
- 5G® Dry™ Click Lock & Moisture Resistance
The advanced 5G® Dry™ click locking system provides a glueless, high-tension mechanical connection. The leak-resistant profile prevents water from penetrating through the joints, easily passing the rigorous ISO Topical Moisture test. Because of its incredible core stability, the floor requires no acclimation period prior to installation and offers excellent protection against spills and daily damp mopping (not intended for wet rooms/showers).
- Radiant Heat Compatibility
Bjelin Hardened Wood flooring is highly thermally stable. The slim 11 mm profile paired with the dense Compositek™ core offers exceptionally low thermal resistance, making it an ideal choice for efficient heat transfer over hydronic and electric radiant in-floor heating systems.
- High Performance Durability Rating
Thanks to the Woodura® hardening process, these floors achieve an outstanding hardness level far exceeding traditional white oak, making them fully rated for both heavy residential use and high-traffic commercial environments.
