Beyond the Peaks

Nestled into the quiet alpine landscape of Breckenridge, Colorado, this award-winning home seamlessly bridges old-world romance with contemporary mountain luxury. Soft architectural curves, custom arched doorways, and intricate metalwork railings lend a soulful, storied charm to the residence, while floor-to-ceiling windows bathe every room in gentle forest light. To anchor these rich architectural elements, the builder selected Copper from our Peak Collection—an exquisite European Wide Plank Oak crafted in Austria. With its golden-brown tones, subtle organic graining, and wire-brushed texture, the wood echoes the home’s handcrafted character and provides a warm, grounded foundation underfoot. A central highlight of the design is the sculptural staircase: custom integrated under-tread LED lighting highlights the solid oak risers, framing a striking interplay between refined wood craftsmanship and dark steel detailing. Finished in ultra-matte PUROTEC, the flooring maintains the raw, tactile authenticity of natural oak while standing up effortlessly to high-altitude mountain living. Celebrated at the Summit County Parade of Homes with top honors—including People’s Choice and Best Interior Furnishings—this home stands as a masterclass in timeless design, where old-world soul meets modern craftsmanship.
